Biaxially oriented polyester film (BOPET for short) is a high-end film made of lightweight materials (also called large lightweight materials, that is, titanium dioxide is added to the raw polyester chips, and then bored, melted, extruded, cast and stretched vertically and horizontally. BOPET film has the characteristics of high strength, good rigidity, transparency and high gloss; odorless, tasteless, colorless, non-toxic, and outstanding toughness;
its tensile strength is 3 times that of PC film and nylon film, and its impact strength is 3-5 times that of BOPP film. It has very good wear resistance and folding resistance. It has good heat resistance, pinhole resistance and tear resistance, etc.; it has the smallest heat shrinkage, at 120℃, it shrinks only 1.25% after 15 minutes; it has good antistatic properties, is easy to prevent vacuum aluminum plating, and can be coated with PVDC to improve its heat sealing, barrier properties and printing adhesion; BOPET also has good heat resistance, excellent resistance to boiling, low temperature freezing, oil resistance and chemical resistance. Except for benzyl alcohol, chloroform and nitrobenzene, most soluble chemicals on BOPET film can be made. It is widely used.
